Location: Ashurst, Hampshire
Contract: Term time only
Hours: 3 days per week (21 hours)
Salary: £36,000 pro rata

Your Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled, and innovative teacher to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will:
* Support the education of children across the South region.
* Provide guidance to foster carers, schools, and a network of professionals.
* Adapt your teaching methods to meet the needs of children with complex requirements.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* Qualified Teacher Status
* Relevant classroom experience
* The ability to be flexible and creative in supporting children's education
* Experience working with looked-after children (advantageous)
* A strong understanding of the educational needs and entitlements for children and young people
Your Responsibilities
As an Advisory Teacher, you will:
* Advise on educational provisions for children within the centre.
* Monitor the educational progress of all children associated with the centre.
* Support centre staff on educational matters.
* Assist in developing educational support policies and procedures.
* Attend multi-disciplinary team meetings and provide advice in line with childcare and personal education plans.
* Liaise with professionals to ensure each child's educational needs are met.
* Work in partnership with children, young people, foster parents, and professionals to support assessment and safeguarding processes.
* Maintain accurate education case records.
* Build relationships with schools and local authority professionals.
