Job - Waking Night Support Worker - Acuity Care Group
We are hiring for a Waking Night Support Worker to provide high-quality, one-to-one care for an individual living in their family home in Wainfleet.
Shift pattern: 10 hours per week, Waking Nights (Monday to Sunday, 22:00 to 08:00). Pay rate: £14.00 per hour. A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required if you may struggle with transport or travel times.
What the role involves
You will deliver compassionate, tailored care during night hours, support with activities and outings to promote social interaction and wellbeing, and assist with household tasks to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment. Clear and confident communication in the individual’s preferred manner is essential to build a strong, trusting relationship.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality 1:1 care during waking night shifts
* Engage the individual in meaningful activities and community outings
* Support with household tasks to maintain an organized living space
* Communicate clearly in the individual’s preferred manner
What you will need
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Knowledge and interest in gaming (video games)
* Previous healthcare experience
* A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (if transport may be an issue)
