As a Telephonist on our busy Raigmore Hospital digital switchboard, you will deal with a high volume of calls providing first line communication to colleagues and the general public. Presenting a helpful and polite manner to both internal and external callers, whilst maintaining the high quality and service standards required. Previous telecoms experience would be beneficial, however, all training will be provided. You will ensure that our callers receive a prompt efficient service, and carry out the expectations of laid down procedures covering: Emergencies, alarm activation and out of hour’s on-call staff. You must have the ability to work as part of a team and as a responsible individual, follow instructions and possess good communication skills. This is a lone working post.
