Job description
As a Mash Social Worker, you will be the first point of contact for all safeguarding concerns in regards to vulnerable adults. Mash works with different agencies in order to work together to identify any possible risks towards individuals, and to prevent the risk from occurring. You will be working to make the right decisions, to ensure the best possible outcomes for individuals.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Assessing the needs of vulnerable individuals
* Writing reports, case notes and other documentation as and when required
* Working in partnership with colleagues from a range of different agencies
* Participating in team meetings, case discussions and regular reviews of the team’s work
* Taking up all training opportunities to improve professional development
Requirements:
* Social Work degree
* Registration with Social Work England
* Full driving license (unless disability precludes driving)
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies
* Effective verbal and written communication
* Strong assessment and analytical skills
* Minimum of 6 months Social Work experience working with adults
* Enhanced DBS, dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today .
