A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF
I am a young(ish) female in my 40s living in the Pentyrch area of Cardiff. I have a rare genetic condition which is referred to as an invisible illness but it effects every part of my body including gi tract issues, vascular, autonomic issues, anaphylaxis and daily joint dislocations.
My condition can leave me bed bound some days, yet on other days you wouldn't know anything was wrong.
Before I fell ill I was a professional musician. I still play for fun and teach music privately for a couple of hours a week just to keep music in my life and pass on some knowledge and I really enjoy it. I also do some composing for documentaries and films.
I am easy to get on with and quite easy going ( or so I'm told).
My interests include music (obviously), arts and crafts, video games, dogs and cooking.

TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED
The most important thing for me is that the candidate is somewhat flexible, isn’t at all judgemental, and is someone I get along well with and we enjoy each other’s company. This means more to me than experience and skills as those can be learnt easily. I've had three young ladies do this role since I fell ill, and all three became some of my closest friends who I still see on a regular basis.
The candidate must be an animal (particularly dog) lover as I have a rescue german shepherd x great pyrenees who can be wary of strangers but once he knows you he'll be demanding belly rubs and he will have you wrapped round his little paws in no time at all.
• Patient
• Friendly
• Trustworthy
• Someone who can work on their own initiative
• Welsh speaker desirable but not essential
• Public transport in the area is poor so a driving licence whilst not essential, is preferred.
• Not squeamish!
