Job Title: Graduate Naval Ships Export Control
Location: Scotstoun (Glasgow)
We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements; for this role you will be expected to attend site 3-5 days per week.
Salary: £34,000 + £2,000 Welcome Bonus
Start date: 7th September 2026. Length of contract: Permanent
What You’ll Be Doing
* The Export Control Graduate will, over a period of 2 years, learn the fundamental principles of export control legislation across multiple jurisdictions.
* Understand and enact the compliance requirements for each jurisdiction; shadow Export Control Officers in all programmes and capability centres to gain understanding of the multiple complex layers of requirements and how these differ across programmes.
* Work on Export Control investigations, audits and self-assurance.
* Identify and undertake a specific project to improve or enhance the export control team’s activities.

The Naval Ships Team
We design and build offshore patrol vessels, giant aircraft carrier and provide complex warships including the Type 26 Frigate to the Royal Navy, enabling customers to fulfil operations worldwide.

Qualification Requirements
As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Maths, Systems Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering or Computer Science.
