Deputy Manager - Contract Catering Location: Barnstaple Salary: £26,000 per annum Hours: 37.5 hours per week (5 x 7.5-hour days) Schedule: Primarily Monday to Friday (flexible approach, mainly day shifts with occasional evening/function support) Accommodation: No live-in available About the Role We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join our Contract Catering team in Barnstaple. Reporting directly to the Manager, you will oversee a team of 12 across two outlets, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service delivery. Key Responsibilities Support the Manager in day-to-day operations across catering outlets. Oversee bar management, dining/function services, and reception services. Act as Duty Manager one weekend in four. Maintain high standards of customer service and compliance. Assist with staffing, training, and performance management. What We're Looking For Proven experience in bar management, dining/function operations, and front-of-house/reception services. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
