Job Description
Responsibilities
* Deal with client onboarding (ID etc)
* Regularly update and liaise with clients
* Liaise with lenders, estate agents and other third parties
* Drafting contract packs and transfers
* Review sale enquiries and liaise with clients, landlords, managing agents etc to obtain the necessary replies
* Order Searches
* Request redemption statements
* Draft SDLT
* Exchange contracts
* Set up completions, draft completion statements and arrange post completion formalities including registration at the Land Registry
* Assist in sorting out any internal accounts queries
* Comply with the firm’s policies and regulatory procedures
Qualifications & Skills
* Excellent client care and communication skills with an ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Proven competence in IT skills (Outlook, Word, and other case management systems experience)
* A proactive, motivated, and flexible approach to work
* Maintaining and updating client files and documentation in accordance with compliance rules and procedures
* 2+ years experience of working in residential conveyancing
