Zurich Engineering is expanding its skilled, field-based Engineer Surveyor team, and we currently have a vacancy in the Aberdeenshire area for a Pressure Systems Engineer Surveyor.
What will I be doing?
You will undergo industry-leading training and then carry out statutory inspections, providing expert opinions on a range of equipment to ensure compliance with legislation and standards. Post-inspection, you will report using a rugged laptop and issue reports electronically, requiring good IT skills and literacy. Excellent communication skills and sound engineering judgment are essential.
What skills/qualifications will I have?
You should be an experienced engineer with solid knowledge of your discipline, working within a multi-disciplinary inspection team in your area. You will report to a Team Manager and work from home, with your client base within a reasonable travel distance.
Ideally, you will have:
* A Level 4 qualification (HND / HNC) in engineering
* Completed a time-served or Modern Apprenticeship
* Hands-on experience in engineering
* Experience with Pressure, Compressed Air & Steam Equipment for inspections
* A valid UK driving license
* Willingness to work paid overtime
