About the role:
To provide high-quality administrative support to the Housing Services in Welshpool.
Respond to daily housing general enquiries received by telephone, e-mail, social media, and face-to-face.
Provide support to individuals wishing to make an application to register with Homes in Powys.
Manage routine 'Homes in Powys' and homeless applications, registrations, enquiries, and verification, referring and working with Housing Officers.
Provide full administrative support to all Housing Officers.
About you:
* Good oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to be flexible and organized.
* Comfortable using computers.
* Pleasant and helpful manner when dealing with members of the public.
* Ability to work well in a team.
What you will do:
* Administrative and day-to-day housing management support.
* Handle general enquiries regarding housing and homelessness.
* Manage routine 'Homes in Powys' and homelessness applications.
* Assist Housing Officers with general administrative duties, such as preparation of tenancy documents.
* Responsible for letting and managing Housing garages.
This position requires a Standard DBS Check.
