First Call Talent Solutions are looking for a Business Development Manager to join a well-established and international freight forward and air cargo company.
Days of Work: Monday to Friday
Office and Field Based. You will spend a lot of time out visiting customers and securing new business.
Usual office hours of 9am-5pm, however you will need a degree of flexibility to meet business needs.
Salary: £35’000 upwards dependent on experience.

Your duties as a Business Development Manager
1. Identify and develop opportunities within ecommerce and cross border logistics
2. Social Media engagement to build awareness
3. Using your knowledge with Ecommerce, Courier and Exports
4. Sales and reaching out to new opportunity
5. Building strong new relationships
6. Maintaining current relationships
7. Negotiate on terms and conditions with new and existing customers
8. Working closely with the GM and support in building case studies, decks and social posts/promotions
9. Assist in educating the teams on Ecommerce and Sales
10. Attend trade shows and events
11. To actively learn about market trends
What we need from you as a Business Development Manager
12. 2 + years of experience in business development in Courier / ECommerce and Exports International Sectors
13. Great communicator
14. Extensive knowledge of selling techniques and experience in long sales cycles
15. Responsible for your own work load
16. Strong network of prospective ECommerce and Courier customer connections
17. Strong experience in selling
18. Cold calling and ability to close deals and follow leads
