As Head of Revenue, your role centres on maximising hotel revenue through accurate forecasting, strategic pricing, and market analysis. It involves producing detailed forecasts for rooms and events, setting competitive rates across all channels, and driving revenue growth beyond local competitors. This position also includes leading commercial meetings, developing action plans, and exploring luxury distribution opportunities. Additionally, the role requires strong stakeholder communication, coordination of revenue-generating teams, and a focus on staff development. What You’ll Bring? This role demands a highly numerate individual with proven experience in luxury revenue management and strong analytical capabilities. Key skills include the ability to influence and coach teams, and excellent written and verbal communication. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, capable of planning and multitasking, and adaptable to change. A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a positive attitude are essential, along with the ability to work independently and stay organized. Proficiency in systems like Excel, IDeaS, OnQ PMS, and Delphi is essential, along with a deep understanding of distribution channels and industry trends to maintain a competitive advantage. Desirable attributes include self-motivation, a relevant degree or HND qualification, and experience with property management systems (PMS) and revenue tools like IDeaS. Hospitality experience and a passion for developing others are also valued, reinforcing the importance of both technical expertise and leadership potential in this role. You must also have the right to work in the UK.
