The role
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Leeds that is seeking to appoint an ICT Teacher. The school is committed to creating a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential and develop the skills needed for future success.
The school is looking to take on a dedicated ICT Teacher on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful ICT Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging ICT lessons across KS3 and KS4, monitoring student progress, and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning throughout the school.
The successful ICT Teacher will have:
• QTS with an ICT or Computing specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching ICT across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent subject knowledge of the ICT curriculum
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons
• A positive and proactive approach to teaching and learning
