Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and capable Health, Safety & Security (HSS) Coordinator to join our HSS Performance & Insights team. This is a varied, busy, and rewarding support role that combines administration, data management, and digital systems work.
You’ll take ownership of developing and maintaining our HSS SharePoint site on the SW intranet (‘The Hub’), support EcoOnline and other HSS digital systems, and play a key role in keeping our team organised, informed, and connected.
This role is perfect for someone who is highly organised, methodical, and creative - a true “doer” who thrives in a fast-paced environment where demands can change quickly.
Key Accountabilities
1. Develop and maintain the HSS SharePoint site (‘The Hub’)
2. Manage HSS digital systems (including EcoOnline), providing user support and training
3. Own the HSS management system, including document management processes
4. Assist with HSS communications (monthly briefing packs, safety alerts, etc.)
5. Oversee the team’s Purchase Order (PO) process, invoice confirmations, and tracking
6. Act as team purchase card holder
7. Administer the HSS mailbox
8. Provide support with data and digital systems tasks
9. Deliver ad-hoc coordination and administration support as required
About You
Knowledge & Qualifications
Required:
10. Experience in SharePoint development and maintenance
11. Previous administration and coordination experience
12. Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
13. Proactive, creative, and eager to learn with a growth mindset
14. Confident engaging with stakeholders
15. Adaptable to change and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Desirable:
16. Experience working in a health and safety team
17. Previous data management experience

This role will be full time Monday to Friday with a mostly WFH approach with occasional visits to our Durrington or Falmer offices when required. We are offering a salary of up to £32,000 per annum as well as other benefits including:
