Our client, a precision engineering firm based in Rochester, are growing and are looking to add an experienced, analytical, detail-oriented Quality Engineer to their Quality team. As a Quality Engineer you will work closely with the Quality Manager, and existing Quality Engineer, to maintain and improve the quality of their bespoke components and the company's accreditations. Your expertise will play a vital role in determining the standards the products are tested against and collaborating with production teams to establish root causes and ensure Corrective/Preventive actions are generated and documented when issues arise. Main responsibilities include: * Conducting internal product and process audits to drive improvements which comply with business processes and ISO9001/ AS9100 certification requirements. * Undertaking corrective actions; identifying, documenting, and analysing nonconformities and mitigating their impacts by implementing appropriate actions. * Recording and documenting inspection results, reporting findings to the Quality Manager.
