At Cornwall Council we are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated full time Band 6 Occupational Therapist to undertake strength‑based assessment, provide Occupational Therapy expertise to residents of Cornwall, working together with other social and health care professionals.

We presently have one Band 6 Occupational Therapy vacancy in the following area: North Cornwall with flexibility to travel as required.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will have a degree in Occupational Therapy and experience of working in Adult Social Care. You will need to be innovative with strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to work well under pressure.
We would want to utilise your skills flexibly within either the front door of our service or in our community space.

Person Specification
Experience
* Ability to work under pressure and in challenging settings
* Ability to work independently, being flexible and adapting to changing situations
* Demonstrable knowledge of current developments in health and social care
Qualifications
* Holds a diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy
* Health & Care Professions Council registration
* Be IT literate
* Demonstrable knowledge of current developments in health and social care
* Ability to work independently and demonstrate good time management and organisational skills whilst working within organisational processes and procedures
