GSTT Open Day for Adult Nursing & Midwifery (24 October). This vacancy is for reference purposes and applications will not be monitored. The event is to inform attendees about opportunities within our Nursing and Midwifery workforce. Time slots are available between 10:00 and 13:00 on Friday 24 October. Registration is requested to attend.

Responsibilities
The post holder is responsible for assessment of care needs of patients, planning programmes of care, and the implementation and evaluation of these programmes without direct supervision. They may have management responsibility for being in charge of the ward and supervising junior staff. They will be a key member in relation to the development of practice on the ward, working independently/autonomously and, at times, without direct supervision, accountable for their own professional actions. They will ensure the safety and well-being of service users and work in a manner that promotes dignity and human rights through person-centered care principles.
Qualifications and requirements
Experience and background relevant to the role within nursing and midwifery are implied by the responsibilities described. The role aligns with NHS standards for professional practice and patient care in acute settings.
