The Opportunity
Due to the exciting growth of our business, we are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our friendly Payroll & Finance team.

Our team currently processes payroll for over 1000 employees, ensuring our educators and support staff are paid accurately and on time - allowing them to focus on what truly matters, providing exceptional care and education to the children in our care.

Based in Hawthorn, this role is a permanent part time appointment, working 30 hours per week over 3 - 4 days a week, including Friday.

About You
We are seeking an applicant with proven experience in performing end to end payroll cycles. You will demonstrate:

* proven attention to detail and a high level of confidentiality & integrity;
* strong payroll system knowledge (HR3 preferred but not essential);
* experience in working with, and an ability to interpret awards and National Employment Standards;
* excellent reporting abilities and intermediate Excel skills;
* strong time management skills and an ability to multi-task and juggle different priorities and deadlines;
* honesty, punctuality, reliability and have an excellent work ethic; and
* outstanding interpersonal skills, including excellent communication skills that allow you to build a strong rapport with your stakeholders.
