Accounting and Financial Reporting AssistantWe are searching for an experienced Accounting and Financial Reporting Assistant

We are looking for an Assistant to join our financial outsourcing reporting team in Milton Keynes. Working as a member of the outsourcing team, the role will be a varied mixture of duties on various clients, and you will be responsible for providing a high-quality outsourced service to our clients on a fulltime basis.

You’ll make an impact by:

1. Processing of purchase invoices and matching to purchase orders
2. Assisting with reconciliation of bank accounts and clearing/matching of payments in system
3. Resolving internal and external queries relating to invoices and bank reconciliations
4. Assisting in the preparation of month end journals, Accruals, prepayments, fixed assets etc
5. Liaising with clients in a professional manner and deal quickly and effectively with client queries adding value wherever possible (technical, problem solving)

6. A good general standard of education including English and Mathematics GCSE (or equivalent) at grade C or above
7. Knowledge of accounts payable and receivables process
8. Confident telephone and email manner
9. Effective organisational skills and attention to detail
10. Working knowledge and experience of working with MS excel, word and outlook
