A leading accountancy practice is seeking a qualified ACCA/ACA Accountant to join its growing Business Services team. This role offers genuine career progression and the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries.
The Role:
The successful candidate will oversee a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality management accounts, VAT returns, and statutory financial statements. You’ll supervise a small team, review technical work, and ensure deadlines are met while maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and review client portfolios across varied sectors
Oversee management accounts, VAT, and statutory reporting
Provide technical guidance and identify process improvements
Supervise and mentor junior team members
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Support ad hoc projects and departmental initiatives
Requirements:
ACA or ACCA qualified
Experience managing clients within an accounting firm (independent or national)
Strong technical and communication skills
Proficient in Xero and Dext; experience with Sage, QuickBooks, and CaseWare beneficial
Organised, detail-oriented, and confident managing deadlines
