Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role located in Bedford for a Pharmacist. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing prescription medicines to clients, ensuring the safe storage and administration of medications, and providing expert advice on the usage of various medications. Daily tasks include counseling patients on medication usage, managing medication inventory, and coordinating with healthcare providers to ensure seamless service delivery. Additionally, the Pharmacist will participate in vaccination programs, weight management counseling, and health checks.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in dispensing and managing prescription medicines
* Strong skills in patient counseling and health education
* Familiarity with inventory management and pharmaceutical regulations
* Ability to coordinate with healthcare providers and multidisciplinary teams
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a related field
* Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
* Experience in a community pharmacy setting is a plus
