Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is highly desirable, along with janitorial skills. Responsibilities
* Clean and sanitise guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities according to company standards
* Change bed linen, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
* Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain a pristine environment
* Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment
* Assist with laundry duties when required, including washing, drying, and folding linens and uniforms
* Maintain cleaning equipment in good condition and notify management of any repairs needed
* Follow established procedures for waste disposal and recycling
Requirements
* Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred
* Janitorial experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
* Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
* Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team setting
* Good physical fitness to handle cleaning tasks involving lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
* Flexibility to work shifts as required, including early mornings or evenings if necessary
* A positive attitude and commitment to delivering high standards of cleanliness and customer service

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 14 per week
