As regional NPR Lead for the Real Estate, Facilities, Workforce, and other Indirect spend categories, the role includes:
* Leadership & Strategic Direction: Providing strategic leadership to three major category sourcing managers and country-based NPR buyers in SESA.
* Strategy Deployment: Defining and deploying strategies for managing a €65 million spend, driving value and benefits annually.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Working with key internal stakeholders across business units, marketing, and control towers.
* Supplier Management: Owning and driving strategic supplier management.
* Alignment with Corporate Goals: Ensuring category strategies align with AkzoNobel’s sustainability goals.
* Digital Agenda: Leading initiatives like Coupa and e-catalogs to enhance procurement processes.
Additional responsibilities include developing regional sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, influencing internal stakeholders, leading global projects, implementing cost management strategies, and contributing to sustainability initiatives.
Experience:
* Graduate in Science/Business Economics; Master’s in Business Administration or Supply Chain preferred.
* Minimum 10 years’ experience in strategic sourcing with similar complexity and spend size; GBS exposure is advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills in English.
* Proven experience in global sourcing, change management, and strategic project leadership.
* Strong interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in SAP, BI, and data analysis.
