Mavar supports individuals from the strictly orthodox Jewish community who are exploring new paths in life. Many of our members face isolation, loss of family support, and limited access to education. Mavar offers them something vital — bespoke mentoring, guidance, and educational support to help them build independent, fulfilling futures.
As we celebrate over 10 years of impact, we’re seeking new trustees to help shape our next chapter.
We’re looking for people who are inspired by our mission and can bring expertise, empathy, and strategic thinking to our (voluntary) board. We’re particularly keen to hear from those with experience in:
* Education and training
* Communications and advocacy
* Fundraising and philanthropy
* Governance and safeguarding
* Or lived experience of challenges like those our members face
