Downlands Community School lies at the heart of Blandford Camp, offering an extremely safe and friendly environment for the children and extensive grounds for sports and playtime. The school is an all-through Primary, taking children from three years old as part of our preschool. Role details
We require a passionate, highly skilled and empathetic professional to join our friendly and hard-working team on a job share basis, working 3 days a week for a fixed term from November 2025 to the end of the academic school year. Applications are particularly welcome from those with recent experience of teaching KS1 classes, either in previous school roles or training settings.

The successful candidate will be required to have a Disclosure and Barring Service check in line with the Government’s Safer Recruitment Guidelines. This role is UK based and your Right to Work will need to be established as part of the appointment process. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
