The Opportunity
We are seeking a commercially minded Commercial Manager to drive growth and profitability across our portfolio, focusing on market activation, strategic partnerships, and business development in the EMEA region and beyond. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety, collaboration, and making a real impact.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Partnerships & Activation
* Build and nurture relationships with key operators, distributors, and partners in leading markets (including travel retail hubs and HORECA).
* Lead the development of annual activation calendars and market-relevant playbooks.
* Localise global brand plans into impactful, market-specific campaigns.
* Deliver high-quality, consistent brand campaigns and identify cross-brand efficiencies.
Sales & Commercial Growth
* Develop and execute regional commercial strategies aligned with global vision.
* Partner with Sales teams to align on budget and strategic initiatives.
* Provide marketing tools and support to drive distribution, visibility, and activation.
* Identify, evaluate, and deliver new business opportunities, including market expansion and new product launches.
Performance & Insights
* Monitor and report on category, channel, and brand performance.
* Evaluate campaign effectiveness and share best practices.
* Manage promotional budgets and ensure effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI and brand impact.
* Conduct market research to inform product development and competitive positioning.
Collaboration & Leadership
* Liaise with Central Marketing and Brand teams to ensure channel tools align with brand guidelines.
* Act as Brand Guardian across all customer-facing activity.
* Lead, motivate, and develop regional teams or external partners to achieve commercial objectives.
* Represent the company as a brand ambassador at key industry events, trade shows, and consumer-facing activities.
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience in commercial sales management within the drinks industry and/or travel retail sector (EMEA region experience preferred).
* Previous trade and channel marketing experience is a must.
* Experience activating campaigns within ecommerce & digital channels is advantageous.
* Experience negotiating trade agreements and distributor contracts.
* P&L management and budgetary control.
* Demonstrated ability to manage retail operations and brand promotions.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
* Good influencing skills and strong commercial understanding.
* Degree-level education in business or related field.
* European language skills (e.g., German, Spanish, Russian, French) are highly desirable.
* Ability to work autonomously, manage own workload, and think creatively.
* People management experience preferable.
