Delight Care & Support Services is expanding and currently recruiting 6 Female and 2 Male Care Assistants to join our supportive, professional, and growing team providing outstanding domiciliary care across Cardiff, Barry, and Penarth.

IMPORTANT – Driving Requirement

A Full UK Driving Licence and access to a reliable car is mandatory for this role. Due to the nature of domiciliary care, you will be visiting clients in their own homes across multiple areas.

Role Responsibilities

* Delivering high-quality personal care to clients
* Providing companionship and emotional support
* Assisting with meal preparation, domestic tasks, and shopping
* Supporting medication administration
* Promoting client independence and dignity
* Accurately recording visits and adhering to care plans

Working Hours

* Flexible shifts available between 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM
* Full-time, Part-time, and Permanent contracts available
* Weekend and evening shifts included
* Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Areas We Cover

* Cardiff South: City Centre, Cardiff Bay, Grangetown, Splott, Canton, Rumney, Llanrumney, St Mellons, Tremorfa
* Cardiff North: Heath, Whitchurch, Rhiwbina, Llanishen, Lisvane, Radyr, Morganstown, Pentyrch, Creigiau
* Vale of Glamorgan: Barry, Penarth, Rhoose, Wenvoe
* Most Shifts In: CF24, CF14, CF23, CF11,

Essential Requirements

* Fluent in English (spoken and written)
* Full UK Driving Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
* Right to work in the UK
* Willingness to follow care standards and company procedures
* Commitment to professionalism and person-centred care
* Good time management and communication skills

Please Note:

* Under Section 7(2)(b) of the Sex Discrimination Act 1975, female carers only can support certain service users – hence this role is open to both male and female applicants but positions are limited.
* 6 female and 2 male roles available.
* CoS will only be offered to candidates who consistently meet expectations and comply with care quality standards over 6–9 months of work.
