Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. NVQ level 3 in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification or significant previous proven experience
2. Good knowledge of IT systems including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
3. Knowledge of medical terminology
Desirable criteria
4. ECDL level 3
5. Knowledge of hospital systems EPR, e-Camis, Soliton
Experience
Essential criteria
6. Significant administrative/Secretarial Experience
7. Demonstrable experience in dealing with public and dealing with sensitive and confidential information
Desirable criteria
8. Previous NHS experience desirable
Technical Skills
Essential criteria
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including taking a proactive and sensitive approach
10. Ability to demonstrate initiative and prioritise work efficiently
11. Good time management, prioritisation and organisational skills including ability to work to tight deadlines
