Shift: Monday - Friday

Hours of Work: Rotating Days 8:00 - 16:00 / Lates 15:30 - 23:30

Step into a key management role as our Maintenance Supervisor. Your primary focus will be training, coaching, and developing a multi-skilled team of engineers and technicians, ensuring high-level expertise and robust compliance. Beyond the technical, this role also offers exposure and involvement in budget management and critical spares inventory control, bridging the gap between technical expertise and financial decision-making. Lastly, you will work on new equipment in a clean environment, leading from the front and rolling up your sleeves to troubleshoot and fix machinery alongside your team.

What You’ll Do


1. Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of multi-skilled Maintenance Engineers and Technicians, including coaching, performance management, and resource allocation.

2. Own and manage Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) compliance schedule ensuing all preventative maintenance checks are carried out On Time In Full (OTIF).

3. Maintain an accurate staff training matrix, ensuring 100% compliance with required technical and safety qualifications, and proactively scheduling refresher training.

4. Assist with the maintenance and repair of equipment on site where necessary to ensure key operational uptime.

5. Manage inventory and spares management process to ensure critical parts availability and minimize downtime risks, while controlling costs.

6. Report key performance indicators (KPIs) to the wider business and attend management meetings to communicate maintenance activities.

7. Assist with management of contractors on site, scheduling work, ensuring PTW process is followed and work is carried out to a high standard


What You’ll Need


Ideally you will already have people management experience within the maintenance engineering function ideally within a logistics, automation, manufacturing, production or sortation environment. However, if you are looking for that next step in your career and can demonstrate exposure to coaching, mentoring and stepping up to cover for your supervisor's absence, we want to hear from you! In addition you will also have:

8. A minimum qualification in electrical, electrical installation or electrical bias at level 3.

9. Demonstrable experience in managing proactive (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities while consistently delivering results under high operational pressure and strict deadlines.

10. Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and identify root cause problems enabling swift and effective resolution of machinery faults to restore full warehouse functionality.

11. Exceptional communication skills, with proven ability to manage high-pressure situations and collaborate effectively with operational stakeholders.

12. Good knowledge of PLC controls (Siemens or Allen Bradley)

13. Excellent IT skills (Microsoft office/BMS/maintenance engineering software)
