The Aspire Training Team are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship at Green Roots Nursery and Preschool

Green Roots Nursery and Preschool has been designed around exciting, real-world experiences, provided in a home from home environment to help children (and parents) thrive! Every day is packed with full and purposeful play, with activities in our outside garden. We help make the transition from home to nursery a seamless and stress-free one for everyone, so children can enjoy the thrill of learning!
Your duties and responsibilities will include;
1. Support the planning and delivery of activities
2. Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in the nursery
3. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children
4. Assist with meal times, including feeding and encouraging healthy eating habits
5. Help to maintain a clean, safe, and organized nursery environment
6. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing updates on children's progress
7. Support children's learning and development through observation and record-keeping
8. Collaborate with other nursery staff members to create a positive and nurturing learning environment for children
Requirements;
9. You must be able to gain a clear DBS
10. Have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent
11. Experience in childcare is desired
Hours;
12. Green Roots Day Nursery and Preschool is open from 08:00-18:00 Monday to Friday
13. The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, hours and shift patterns to be discussed
