3. Taking a coordinated, joined‑up approach to neighbourhood management and community engagement
4. Acting as a key point of contact for ward partners, including Elected Members and community groups
5. Contributing to service development, change management and continuous improvement
6. Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, equality and statutory requirements
About you
You will bring:
7. Proven experience of managing staff and delivering customer‑focused housing or neighbourhood services
8. Strong leadership and people‑management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop others
9. Experience of partnership working and resolving complex, sometimes sensitive issues
10. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders
11. A proactive, solutions‑focused approach with sound judgement and accountability
You will also share Sheffield City Council’s values, with people at the heart of what you do, a commitment to openness and honesty, and a belief that together we get things done.
