We are delighted to be partnering with an established organisation which is experiencing an exciting period of growth and seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their expanding finance department.
Your new role
Working as part of a collaborative and supportive finance team, this role will epass running the purchase ledger function, alongside supporting with a range of transactional accounting and month-end tasks.
Processing and coding purchase invoices
Query investigation and resolution
Preparing payment runs
Bank reconciliations
Month-end creditor reporting
Supporting with month-end close processes, including posting journals and reconciliations
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a proven track record in a similar role with end-to-end purchase ledger experience. Knowledge of other areas of accounting, including month-end close processes would be beneficial. Strong systems and IT skills, including Excel (pivot tables / lookups) will be essential. A positive and proactive approach alongside the ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be pivotal.
