We’re looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team, working at the forefront of high-performance mechanical system design.
You’ll take ownership of the end-to-end design and development of critical rotating components and subsystems, ensuring robustness, reliability, and manufacturability. From concept generation and detailed design through to validation and production support, you’ll be instrumental in shaping technically demanding, high-integrity products that operate under challenging mechanical loads and environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the concept, design, and re-engineering of complex mechanical and rotating components and assemblies.

Apply first-principles engineering and sound mechanical reasoning to solve design and integration challenges.

Produce and review detailed 3D CAD models, drawings, and technical documentation to the highest standards.

Support validation and testing through the design of test rigs, fixtures, and measurement setups.
*
Ensure all designs meet customer, safety, and industry standards while balancing performance, cost, and manufacturability.
*
Work cross-functionally with manufacturing, analysis, and supply chain teams to deliver designs that are practical, robust, and production-ready.

Contribute to continuous improvement, FMEA, and product development processes.
About You
*
Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, with strong experience in detailed mechanical design.
*
Proven ability to design complex components and systems using sound engineering principles and analytical thinking.
*
Background in rotating equipment, gears, transmissions, drivetrains, or similarly stressed mechanical systems is highly desirable.
*
Confident with CAD tools (Solid Edge preferred, others considered) and experienced in creating and checking engineering documentation.
*
Good understanding of materials, stress analysis, manufacturing methods, and tolerancing.
*
Collaborative communicator with excellent attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and drive for quality.
