About the Role We are seeking a high-performing and commercially driven
Vice President
to join a leading global investment bank's
Technology / Software Investment Banking team in London.
This role offers exposure to high-profile, cross-border transactions within a well-established platform, with a strong track record advising across
enterprise software, SaaS, fintech, and broader technology-enabled businesses.
Responsibilities
Lead the execution of
M&A, minority investments, and capital-raising transactions
across the Software and broader Technology sector
Take primary responsibility for
managing transaction processes, including overseeing due diligence, coordinating advisors, and serving as a key point of contact for clients, investors, and counterparties
Develop and review detailed
financial models and valuation analyses, including DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions, and LBO analysis where relevant
Drive the preparation and delivery of
high-quality client materials, including pitch books, information memoranda, and management presentations
Contribute actively to
origination efforts, supporting client coverage, developing relationships, and generating differentiated strategic ideas across key software sub-sectors
Maintain strong relationships with
corporates, private equity sponsors, and financial investors
active in the technology space
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, overseeing Analysts and Associates to ensure high standards of execution
Work closely with senior leadership to support
sector strategy and franchise growth
across London and the broader European platform
Requirements
Experience:
6-8+ years of investment banking or financial advisory experience, with meaningful exposure to Technology / Software transactions
Technical Skills:
Strong financial modelling and valuation expertise, with the ability to review and guide complex analyses
Sector Expertise:
Demonstrated understanding of
software and technology subsectors, including SaaS, enterprise software, and tech-enabled services, alongside key industry trends such as recurring revenue models and digital transformation
Execution Leadership:
Proven ability to lead transactions and manage multiple workstreams in parallel under tight timelines
Client Management:
Experience engaging with senior stakeholders, including corporate executives, founders, and private equity investors
Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively
Commercial Judgement:
Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to develop strategic insights
International Exposure:
Experience working on cross-border transactions and collaborating with international teams is advantageous
