DT Teacher required full-time from September 2025

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Design and Technology Teacher to join a popular and successful department offering a variety of pathways including Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, and Engineering. The school offers KS3 DT with an emphasis on core technical skills, and GCSE DT with the possibility of A-Level Product Design for suitably experienced candidates.
The department is well-equipped with two workshops, a CAD/CAM suite, 3D printers, laser cutters, and an electronics lab. There is strong support from specialist technicians, and staff work collaboratively to deliver project-based, hands-on learning experiences.
Experience and Qualifications
• A degree in a DT-related subject and QTS (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
• Experience teaching Design and Technology at KS3 and KS4
• Familiarity with modern manufacturing and CAD/CAM tools
• Strong health and safety awareness and practical skills
• UK work eligibility essential
