Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer
Join us as an electrically biased Shift Maintenance Engineer at Northwood, a fast‑paced, clean, state‑of‑the‑art FMCG manufacturing facility.
About the Role
* Shift pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off / 4 nights on / 4 days off (continuous).
* Work days during induction.
Expected Contributions
* Sustain and improve equipment reliability and efficiency, create and monitor innovative maintenance programs.
* Support commissioning of new lines and development of performance measures and yearly maintenance plans.
* Cross‑skill operators in changeovers, CILs, minor PPMs and repairs.
* Deliver troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and long‑term solutions.
* Manage spare parts, conduct criticality and obsolescence assessments, and support CI initiatives.
* Use 5S, TPM, and Kaizen to support continuous improvement.

Requirements
* Proven experience as a multi‑skilled/electrically biased Maintenance Engineer.
* Background in FMCG (foods, packaging, pharmaceuticals, etc.).
* Proactive approach to equipment efficiency and reliability.
* Level 3+ electrical qualification (ideally from an apprenticeship).
