We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Commis to join our culinary team. Duties
* Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
* Support senior chefs in food production tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
* Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for dishes.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
* Uphold high standards of hospitality by ensuring that all dishes are presented beautifully before serving.
* Engage in continuous learning to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food production techniques.
Requirements
* Previous kitchen experience is essential, preferably within a restaurant setting.
* Demonstrated culinary experience with a solid understanding of food preparation techniques.
