Responsibilities
* Deliver profitable and stable account growth across the UK, Europe and potentially globally, aligned to each client’s specific needs.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients, securing Arcadis as a trusted partner.
* Ensure exceptional client experience and positive outcomes across all locations of each portfolio client’s business.
Bring the best of Arcadis to clients by coordinating services across the business to create client-specific, high-impact value propositions that address key challenges.
Role accountabilities
* Account Direction & Planning for Growth: Develop cross regional/global account strategies, translate into annual and multi-year plans with clear objectives and measurable outcomes, and ensure alignment across geographies, solutions, and teams.
* Delivering Sustainable Growth: Drive bookings and margin against targets; expand relationships across client operations; share market insights to support relationship building; create client opportunities through regular engagement and collaboration; lead pursuits with a focus on above-target win ratio.
* Creating Differentiated Value Propositions: Collaborate with Arcadis Solutions teams to tailor offerings; prioritise client experience; develop pursuit strategies; foster a positive, growth-oriented culture; mobilize talent across geographies and sectors; drive synergies with global sector teams.
* Market Positioning: Position Arcadis as a thought leader leveraging innovation, data and sustainability practices; support marketing strategies to amplify impact.
Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate is likely in a DC/Technology Sector growth role, seeking a senior strategic leadership position within a modern, inclusive and agile global consultancy.
* Relevant Engineering, Technical or Business Degree
* Background in design, engineering and program delivery consultancy within built assets
* Growth mindset and well-connected in the DC market; ability to hit the ground running
* Deep Data Centre industry understanding with proven growth and business development capability
* Proven track record of sales strategy development and profitable growth of client accounts
* Experience inspiring multidisciplinary teams across geographies
* Ambitious, entrepreneurial attitude with strong commercial acumen
* Experience as a senior client leader in technology sectors (e-commerce, cloud, AI)
* Ability to navigate complex organizations and build lasting client relationships
* Strong ability to position Arcadis as a trusted advisor through innovative solutions
* International experience across industries and functions with global impact
* Experience leveraging data-driven decision making and emerging technologies
* Experience attracting, developing and mobilising talent in diverse markets
Travel
To perform the role effectively, travel to client offices and site locations in the UK, Europe and potentially wider. Key locations may include UK, Nordics, Dublin, Benelux, Germany, Italy, Spain and France; expect time at client Head Quarters and onsite project teams on a rotating basis.
