I have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to join an unique child care provider. The role comes with an excellent salary, great benefits and future growth opportunities. I am seeking a Registered Manager who can effectively liaise with outside agencies, Ofsted and Local Authorities. The main duties of the role will include: * Lead a team of staff in the delivery of high-quality care and support to the children and young people living in the residential children’s home. * Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure that the needs of the children and young people are met, that they are kept safe and that their well-being is promoted. * Develop and implement care plans and risk assessments, in consultation with the children and young people and other professionals. * Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the service, ensuring that outcomes for the children and young people are positive. * Participate in safer recruitment and selection of staff, ensuring that the right people are employed and that they are trained and supported to deliver high-quality care. * Work closely with the Directors to develop and implement strategies that will enhance the service and ensure that it meets all regulatory requirements. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and ensure that all reporting requirements are met. The successful applicant will be a highly experienced Registered Manager with a proven track record of achieving and sustaining Outstanding or Good Ofsted ratings within children’s home s. You will be proficient in the leadership supervision of the staff team, as well as working to all necessary legislation including Ofsted guideline. The successful candidate will have the following: * NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare, or equivalent. * At least 4 years management experience in a residential home setting. * A familiarity with therapeutic approach. * Mental Health experience * Strong organisational skills. * A commitment to working in partnership with children, young people, their families and carers. * Ability to lead and manage a team of staff. * Good communication skills, both written and verbal. * A driving license and access to a vehicle. For an ambitious and successful manager this role will provide the opportunity to become a regional/ multi site manager and to become a part of the senior management team
