Spire Pathology Services courier drivers are required to drive a liveried CDV vehicle to collect and deliver a variety of pathology samples on various routes. From time to time there will be deliveries of medical or other light equipment and goods.
Drivers are responsible for loading and unloading deliveries, using technology to map their routes, track their collections and deliveries, making collections and deliveries on time, completing required paperwork, all while providing excellent customer service throughout the working day. Drivers will be appropriately trained in safety and security requirements.
Main duties:
1. Collection and delivery of samples on a pre-designated route/schedule, plus responding to occasional ‘on-demand’ requests.
2. Prepare the van for operation by inspecting its general condition; checking levels and pressures; cleaning the van exterior and interior; and notifying of any vehicle defects which require action.
3. Maintain a safe, confidential operation and clean appearance by complying with organisation operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as driving rules and regulations.

A DBS check will be a requirement of the selection process.
Full time: 37.5 hours per week.
