Summary The Systems Lead is responsible for overseeing the integration and upgrade of our internal 'Cruising Power 2.0' platform on Adobe. The current focus is collaborating with senior management and the Cruising Power HQ team to support the strategy and successful integration of the upgraded system into our international market operations. This role requires a clear understanding of business objectives, enabling the Systems Lead to translate strategic goals into actionable project deliverables that align with market needs. From understanding all trade-facing systems and platforms and ensuring that these are fit for purpose for our trusted travel partners across all international markets. This includes, but is not limited to, live booking systems, access to marketing assets and collateral and rewards platforms. Following the implementation phase, the Systems Lead will oversee content uploads, ongoing maintenance, and optimisation of the platform to ensure the highest standards of functionality, usability, and feature richness. This includes ownership of trade integrations and ensuring seamless connectivity with other relevant systems where applicable (Celebrity Rewards / Training Platform). You will be recognised as a subject matter expert in trade tools and sales enablement. The ideal candidate will serve as a role model for our corporate culture, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the comprehensive understanding and documentation of all existing elements within Celebrity Central (trade portal) as part of the transition to CP 2.0
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather detailed insights into current Celebrity Central functionalities, processes, and integrations
Map and document all elements, including systems, workflows, data flows, and user interactions related to Celebrity Central
Support the analysis of existing capabilities to identify dependencies, gaps, and areas for improvement during the transition
Work closely with technical and business teams to ensure a clear understanding of current elements, facilitating a smooth migration to the new platform
Assist in creating documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate the current state and transition plan effectively
Ensure all relevant translation is in build and checked with local teams at market level
Coordinate communications between the Platform Team and stakeholders in Celebrity Cruises international markets
Identify and manage cross team dependencies to prevent impediments and foster collaboration
Work with existing B2B platforms that will remain, for example SSO
Lead implementation of all Cruising Power Content at market level
Launch Plans (2026)
Create and maintain timing plans to support launch of CP tool in each market
Work with Trade Marketing teams to produce in Market Launch collateral & comms plans
Evaluate and action training requirements for all EMEA Markets
Implementation & BAU (ongoing)
Work with Trade Marketing to create monthly content calendars and continued comms for CP uploads
Lead implementation of all Cruising Power content at market level once in BAU as supplied by Trade Marketing teams, including all copy, banners and other trade collateral items
Work with translation tool for uploading all standard copy and messaging as required
Monitor and report usage by market level drilling into agency information where relevant
Create in-depth reporting suite to analyse agent behaviours and make recommendations for further engagement to set targets
Create and deliver a monthly CP update for Senior Leadership Team (SLT)
Evaluate and present any future development requirements or builds to CP
Manage assigned budget to support platform
Maintain SSO to market platforms and eventual move to Cruising power
Support systems and platforms other than CP 2.0 as they are launched, re-launched or implemented by the business
Qualifications / Experience
Proven success in similar roles for a minimum of 5 years
Project management / trade partner management
Familiarity with system upgrades
Experience of working in a multi-channel matrix organisation
Knowledge of the cruise industry is preferred
Knowledge And Skills
Highly motivated cross functional and visionary specialist
Knowledge of platform and design, wireframe, development and maintenance
Experience in process mapping, system documentation, and transition planning
Knowledge and experience of digital tools / CRM data management / Adobe
Creative, with experience in proof reading
Analytical mindset and high attention to detail
Highly motivated with a ‘can do’ and think out of the box attitude
Ability to understand reporting, mine and action that data accordingly to relevant audiences
Good at identifying problems and finding solutions
Ability to track and manage budget
Strong relationship builder
Working Conditions
Office based in Weybridge, Surrey. The general working hours are Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm however this role will require flexibility in working hours, as many meetings and collaborative sessions are scheduled during the evening to accommodate international time zones. Candidates should be prepared to work outside standard office hours occasionally to ensure effective communication and alignment with global teams. A flexible approach to work hours is essential to support the successful delivery of projects and maintain seamless stakeholder engagement across regions.
