A warehouse manager oversees daily operations to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. Key responsibilities include managing staff, implementing safety and security procedures, maintaining accurate inventory, optimizing warehouse space, and coordinating logistics. Warehouse Manager will be based at our Barnstaple site. This role does require being onsite 5 days a week. The salary for this role is circa £41.5k, depending on experience. What you’ll be doing Operations management: Supervise daily activities such as receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping to maximize efficiency and productivity Staff leadership: Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff; organize shift rotas; and manage performance to achieve operational goals Inventory control: Oversee stock levels and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy. Manage stock control and reconcile data with storage systems Safety and compliance: Ensure adherence to all health, safety, hygiene, and security regulations and standards Logistics coordination: Manage the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse, coordinating with suppliers, transport companies, and clients for timely deliveries Space optimisation: Strategically manage the warehouse layout to ensure efficient space utilisation Reporting and budgeting: Prepare reports on warehouse activities and manage the annual budgetAbout our company At SEA, we develop and deliver advanced solutions to make our world safer, cleaner and more efficient.
