Job Title: Technical Business Analyst (Insurance)
Location: London / Northampton
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with deep expertise in Commercial Insurance, particularly within the London Market and Reinsurance domain. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving data migration, system integration, and digital transformation initiatives, while bridging business and technical teams.
Hybrid working:
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role
Define pilot migration scope, success criteria, and support execution by identifying issues and root causes Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on requirements and delivery outcomes Analyze and document complex business and system requirements, translating them into actionable work items Drive integration efforts, including: SaaS application integrationsAPI orchestrationData transfers and automationRefine requirements into user stories/tasks within Azure DevOps / Jira to support development and integration builds Review vendor documentation and extract low-level technical details for implementation Identify gaps in solutions, migration inconsistencies, and product limitations Support decision-making through data analysis and problem-solvingYour Job

Strong experience in Commercial Insurance, specifically: London MarketReinsurance (Outwards)Solid understanding of key concepts: Facultative (FAC)Proportional TreatyExcess of Loss (XOL)Ability to bridge domain knowledge with technical implementation and identify solution gapsRequired Skills & Experience
