Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage the complete optical operation, ensuring service excellence and compliance.
* Lead and develop the team of optometrists and optical assistants, providing coaching and performance feedback.
* Coordinate clinic management and shop floor processes to meet patient needs.
* Review sales forecasts, set department targets and ensure targets are met.
* Handle customer queries, resolving issues and maintaining high satisfaction.
* Work closely with the on‑site optometrist to deliver seamless clinical care.
Qualifications
* Fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC.
* On track to meet statutory CPD points requirement.
* Proven leadership skills in a fast‑paced optics environment.
* Demonstrated ability to coach and develop staff.
* Excellent customer and patient care focus.
* Organised, able to manage time effectively.
* Driven and ambitious to meet department targets.
