Engineering Manager – Offshore Wind ️⚙️

My client, A UK based Offshore Wind Design Consultancy is looking for an experienced and driven Engineering Manager to head up major projects, mentor a top-tier team, and collaborate directly with clients to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
You’ll lead foundation design for offshore wind turbines — from concept to delivery — while solving complex problems and keeping everything running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead the design of WTG foundations (monopiles, jackets, GBS, etc.)
Review and sign off designs to meet industry standards & project specs
Work closely with geotech, structural & marine teams to create smart, cost-effective solutions
Keep projects on schedule, on budget, and on point
Collaborate with PMs, fabricators & contractors across all phases
Build strong client relationships and represent the team with confidence
Mentor engineers and encourage innovation
Stay ahead of trends and push design boundaries
What We’re Looking For:
8+ years of offshore structural or wind foundation experience
Strong foundation in WTG foundation design (monopiles, jackets, FEA, etc.)
Great with technical tools and industry standards
Natural leader and team motivator
Top-notch communicator — written and spoken
Solid project management chops, balancing delivery, quality, and resources
Qualifications:
Degree in Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, or Marine Engineering
Chartered (or working toward it)
Offshore wind project experience is essential
Budget & risk management experience is a plus
