Our Client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership located in Swindon, is seeking a professional and customer-focused Vehicle Service Advisor to join their busy Service Department. Duties:
* Greet customers in the Service Department and handle vehicle bookings efficiently
* Advise customers on minor technical issues with their vehicles and recommend appropriate products and services
* Liaise extensively with the workshop team to track ongoing repairs and service progress
* Upsell additional services and parts where appropriate, maximising revenue opportunities
* Keep customers informed about their vehicle's repair status, managing expectations effectively
* Take payments for completed work in a professional manner
* Support the team in achieving departmental targets and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Service Advisor is advantageous but not essential
* Strong customer service and sales-oriented background with excellent communication skills
* Organised with strong IT proficiency; experience with Kerridge/Keyloop DMS or Onelink systems is beneficial
* Full, clean UK driving license with minimal points
* Ability to build rapport with customers and provide a positive service experience
* Proactive approach to work, with a focus on achieving individual and team targets
