Job Title: Head of Modelling & Optimisation
Location: Flexible hybrid working with offices in Manchester and Peterborough.
Division: Retail Pricing - Modelling & Optimisation.
Position Overview: Responsible for leading technical pricing solutions to drive commercial outcomes, including strategic and technical leadership, team management, and fostering innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and own pricing strategies and models.
* Drive continuous improvement through change and innovation.
* Develop pricing models using a tailor-made pipeline and software tools.
* Build predictive models and optimize customer prices.
* Improve pricing processes for better performance and efficiency.
* Innovate current modelling and pricing methodologies.
* Ensure compliance with governance and controls.
* Collaborate with the Street Pricing Team and manage stakeholder relationships.
* Manage a team, including managers.
Candidate Profile:
* Experience managing pricing teams and managers.
* Excellent communication skills, especially with senior stakeholders.
* Extensive experience with general insurance products and current trends.
* Knowledge of Radar or Earnix software.
* Strong commercial acumen and retail pricing optimisation experience.
* Proficiency in predictive modelling and data science languages.
