The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Team Leader with exceptional customer service skills to join our team in our Saltney site. You'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the centre, ensuring that both staff and visitors enjoy the very best experience. Leading from the front, you'll inspire the team to consistently deliver outstanding service, maintain safety, and uphold our high standards.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring:
* Front-of-house experience in leisure or retail (soft play experience is a bonus)
* Supervisory or operational management experience
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* A customer-first approach, with the ability to manage challenges confidently
* A First Aid certificate (advantageous, but training can be provided)
Hours
* 4 x 10-hour shifts each week: Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday at a rate of £12.69 per hour
* Additional hours may be available to cover holidays and sickness
* Flexibility required, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise staff and visitors, ensuring safety and wellbeing at all times
* Take responsibility for the venue's operations in the Manager's absence
* Organise staffing levels to ensure smooth daily operations
* Deliver and maintain the highest levels of customer service
* Keep facilities and equipment in excellent condition through daily checks and maintenance coordination
* Motivate, train, and manage staff performance
* Ensure compliance with all regulations and legislation
* Plan, promote, and oversee activities, events, and parties
* Contribute ideas and input to business development and future planning

* This is not an exhaustive list of duties – flexibility is key
* Participation in training, appraisals, and reviews is required
* A valid DBS check is essential
