Highwood Care Home is looking to recruit a Weekend Receptionist.
Our brand new, purpose-built care home is nestled in the beautiful and historic port town of Bideford. Our luxury facility offers Residential, Dementia, Nursing and Respite care for 67-residents.
You will be paid 11.44 per hour & contracted to 16-hours - Sat & Sun 9am - 5pm.
A key element of the role requires effective communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to develop good relationships with residents, employees and external professionals is essential.
Responsibilities
To answer incoming telephone calls and route them accordingly or deal positively with any resulting enquiries.
To sort through incoming mail and distribute accordingly.
To respond positively to any face-to-face enquiries and help where possible to both visitors and clients.
To provide secretarial support, maintain records and provide updated resident information on a daily/weekly basis.
General filing and record maintenance
Photocopying
To work towards company policies and assist and contribute where possible.
Any other duties considered reasonable by the manager or proprietor.
As Weekend Receptionist, you will ensure the care homes high standards are always maintained and that each team member treats residents in the way that they would like to be treated.
