Job Description:
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in
Nottinghamshire
to assist with the appointment of a
Residential Social
Care Worker
to work in a residential care setting.
We have both regular shifts (35 hours per week) and bank shifts available. Please note that
we don't offer sponsorship, and the worker should be able to work full time without restrictions. We would need 5 years work references checked out before you start the shifts.
Rate of Pay :
£14.08 - £18.54 per hour
Summary:
Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking compassionate and motivated
Residential Social Care Worker
to join their residential care services team. The role involves providing high-quality care and support to children, young people, or adults in a safe and nurturing residential setting.
Responsibilities: Deliver daily care and support to residents in accordance with individual care plans. Participate in the planning, implementation, and review of personalised care plans. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents by adhering to safeguarding procedures and risk assessments. Accurately maintain records, reports, and logs in accordance with council procedures. Attend and contribute to team meetings, training, and supervision sessions.
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People or Adults) or equivalent, or willingness to work towards it.
Essentials: Experience working in a residential or care setting is desirable. Experience supporting individuals with behavioural, emotional, or physical needs is an advantage Understanding of the needs and rights of vulnerable children, young people, or adults. Full Driving License
